Florence & The Machine's new album, "Dance Fever", goes deep into the heart and dances the body at the same time

Already at the beginning of "King", the opening song of Florence & the Machine's new album, listeners get what will be the essence of the entire album: songs that range from female empowerment to the impact of fame on the band's lead singer, the amazing Florence Walsh.

There is not a single moment in "Dance Fever" where Walsh hides her inner self or what she feels about a variety of subjects.

As the lead writer of the album, she allows herself to be opened up as never before.

She is not afraid to sing about her desire to start a family - a desire that conflicts with her career ("We argue in the kitchen whether to have children, the end of the world and the scale of my aspirations", she sings in "King"), and even admits she has thoughts. Retirement in "Morning Elvis."

Walsh also talks about misogyny (in the amazing "Dream Girl Evil", one of the best on the album) and the difficulty of love ("When someone looks at me with true love, I do not particularly like it," she sings in "Girls Against God").

Everything is allowed for her.

All this beauty drains into a wonderful album that captures the ear from the first listen.

The musicality in which she shouts.

Just like the theme in the songs, so in the music the band remains true to the alternative and unconventional echo that has accompanied it since the beginning.

Many thanks to super producer Jack Antonoff, whose works with names like Taylor Swift and Lord have proven that he is a master at working with composers.

The album "Dance Fever" is a real experience, one that goes deep into the heart while it dances the body (for example in the excellent "Free") or vibrates the soul (for example in "The Bomb", whose minimalism is simply charming).

It would be so true to say out loud that this is not only the band's best album, but one of the best of the year.
