There's a fire in a hospice.
Dog Matilda alerts all residents so they can get to safety.
But help comes almost too late for them.
Saint Petersburg - She is a real heroine and deserves to be celebrated: dog Matilda.
The four-legged friend saved four people from certain fire deaths and almost lost his life in the process.
The half-breed is in joyful anticipation even at this point in time.
That didn't stop the pregnant dog from storming into a private hospice facility as she witnessed fires breaking out.

Matilda is said to have walked up and down in it again and again and barked so much that she alerted everyone in good time.
Shortly thereafter, the fire brigade is said to have been called and the patients brought to safety.
But dog Matilda stayed behind in the fire, she had passed out from smoke inhalation and suffered severe burns.
Although the incident happened in winter 2020, it continues to go viral on social networks such as Facebook.
Many are moved by the fate of the self-sacrificing dog, which was finally rescued from the flames by two volunteers.
Matilda was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic, she had severe burns on her face, neck and throat, and chest.
She is said to have howled in pain when she was treated, reports the British news portal "Dailymail".
Nevertheless, she bravely endured the treatments.

However, the veterinarian was also surprised to find that the bitch was in different circumstances.
Luckily, their babies survived, too, "they are alive and developing well," said animal rights activists at the animal shelter in Saint Petersburg.
However, it is not known what became of Matilda and her offspring.
At this early stage, however, it was not known how many offspring Matilda, also known as Motya in Russian, would expect.
In addition, according to animal rights activists, Matilda was not able to feed her babies because her teats were also totally burned.
But surely such a superhero finally got the happy ending she deserved.
