In this 2022 edition of the French Grand Slam tournament, the equipment manufacturer has released a collection that is reaping its little success at the net and in the stands.

The top seeds of Roland-Garros are fervent defenders.

This Monday, April 14, the equipment manufacturer Adidas released a new collection that panics the French Grand Slam tournament.

T-shirts, dresses, tank tops or even polos… This capsule designed from recycled materials features an intriguing detail that arouses the curiosity of tennis fans.

It is indeed a motif inspired by the botanical garden very close to the tennis tournament: the Serres d'Auteuil.

On a white or black background, this graphic denotes by contrast.

We seem to see a sun, roses or even waves.

Once the mystery is unveiled, it does not seem any less occult.

This collection did not fail to make admirers of Gilles Simon or even Jelena Ostapenko react with its unconventional design.

Usually very sober, the outfits sported by tennis players are experiencing a bold turnaround here.

Heads of series

The Greek Stefanos Tsisipas, 4th player in the world and finalist of the 2021 edition, the Kazake and 16th in the world Elena Rybakina or even Gilles Simon… Many athletes wear this collection during the tournament.

A huge showcase for the brand which wishes to highlight its ecological commitment.

“Wearing the Adidas SS22 collection on the court is a way of showing that the fight against plastic waste is an issue that we all have to fight against as members of an international community,” explains Elena Rybakina.
