The Director of School Health in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi, confirmed that the necessary medical examinations for Syrian students and students coming from some areas in the governorates of Aleppo, Idlib and Deir ez-Zor, where armed terrorist organizations are present, have been carried out to present general certificate exams in state-controlled areas.

Al-Tawashi indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that during the past two days, 1580 rapid tests for the Corona virus were conducted for students, including 1450 swabs in Aleppo, 112 in Deir ez-Zor and 18 in Idlib so far, and was carried out by health teams affiliated with school health and health directorates, confirming that the results of The smears are all negative and the health of the arrivals is good.

Al-Tawashi explained that health teams have been assigned to student hosting centers set up by the government in five governorates (Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, Hama and Rural Damascus) with the aim of providing health care to them during their stay in the centers, in addition to the presence of psychological counselors to provide psychosocial support to students and deal with their psychological conditions. .

Al-Tawashi pointed out that, in cooperation with international organizations, hygiene and sterilization supplies such as soap, chlorine, detergents, alcohol sterilizers, and masks were provided for the centers and students residing there, and all the frameworks that will provide educational services to them.
