Cheese recall: suspected listeria - you should not eat these varieties under any circumstances

Be careful with these cheeses: A cheese factory is recalling four of their products.
Under no circumstances should consumers consume the varieties, but return them.
Munich – Health hazard for cheese eaters: Four types of cheese from the Wilhelm Mack cheese dairy in central Hesse may not be suitable for consumption and will be withdrawn from the market.
The reason for the recall is a suspected Listeria contamination.
It's about these varieties:
Bliestaler sour milk cheese, Wilma farmer's hand cheese, Wilma Edelharzer and Wilma basket cheese.
The products are provided with the best before dates 06/20/2022, 06/23/2022 and 06/27/2022.
These cheeses with specific sell-by dates are affected.

The cheese dairy is located in Hüttenberg in central Hesse (Lahn-Dill district).
The company strongly advises against eating the cheeses.
Customers can return the cheese at retail outlets for a refund of the purchase price.
Listeria can be particularly harmful to pregnant women, small children and the immunocompromised
Listeria is not to be trifled with, even if listeriosis is usually harmless: in addition to nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, listeria can also trigger symptoms similar to a flu infection after a longer incubation period (sometimes over 3 weeks).
Pregnant women, small children and those with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.
For unborn children there is a risk of premature birth, severe damage or even the death of the fetus - even if the pregnant woman sometimes does not even notice the disease.
If you have symptoms, you should see a doctor immediately.
Freshly operated, AIDS or cancer patients and diabetics can also become seriously ill.
Blood poisoning or meningitis are to be feared.
These can be fatal, even if they can be treated with antibiotics.
