But how do you manage to recreate the good experience at home as well?

Many of us today have a home capsule machine at home, but how do you know which capsule to choose, in order to drink the coffee just the way you like it?

What do all these numbers, letters, names and countries say?

Here's a guide that will put you in order.

The classic series (Photo: PR)

Number Theory

The number on the package indicates the strength of the coffee.

For example, Capsule 04 of Elite Coffee, the beans are light in the country with light roasting, which creates coffee with a subtle acidity and balanced flavors of nuts and berries.

A coffee that is suitable for inverted coffee lovers, who need a moment of pampering coffee.

On the other side of the scale, you will find the high numbers.

Capsule 15 of Elite Coffee, offers - the most powerful coffee.

For those who like their coffee strong and bold, but also with a wider range of flavors.

This capsule actually contains a mixture of two varieties of coffee - Robusta and Arabica.

The Robusta variety comes from Southeast Asia and is responsible for the flavors of bitterness and strength, while the coffee beans from the Arabica variety, which originate in East Africa, are responsible for the sourness in the coffee.

The process of roasting coffee beans also affects the intensity - the coffee beans here undergo a longer and slower roasting and a higher roasting temperature - thus obtaining a more powerful and powerful drink.

Capsule 15 will be suitable for making particularly powerful long or short espresso drinks, but also for cappuccino for example, for those who still want to maintain pronounced and sharp flavors.

In the range between these two, there are of course, different grades and different flavors, Capsule 07 for example of Elite Coffee, offers a mixture with full body and velvety texture with flavors of roasted grains and nuts, it is made from a combination of Arabica varieties from Africa and South America.

It will work great as an espresso, more delicate, and also with whipped milk for quality inverted coffee.

COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN

As we have reviewed here in detail, the countries of origin from which the coffee beans come have great significance in the final taste of the coffee.

These capsules are called Single Origin and on their box you will find the name of the country of origin of the same coffee.

How will you know which coffee from each country is right for you?

Brazil (No. 06) -

The Brazil capsule of Elite Coffee has been selected from Arabica beans from different parts of the country, and they create a refined coffee with medium acidity, full body and nutty (naturally) flavors that are suitable for those who like their coffee more relaxed.

Colombia (No. 08) - The coffee in the Colombia capsule is 100% arabic and is grown in orchards located at high altitudes, which form a very aromatic drink, with a full body and medium strength.

It has a high acidity compared to others and a very noticeable fruitiness, even reminiscent of berries and peaches.

Its richness and complexity are perfect for those who especially love espresso.

Guatemala (No. 11) - The growing conditions for coffee in this country, in Central America, are considered among the best in the world.

To form these capsules, Arabica and Robusta beans were combined from 1800-meter-high orchards located on volcanic soil, very rich in minerals.

These conditions help to yield aromatic coffee with high acidity, fruitiness, bitterness reminiscent of dark chocolate, and is suitable for those looking for coffee with character.

Indonesia (No. 12)

- To create an Indonesia capsule, combine high-growing Arabica beans on the famous island of Sumatra with Robusta beans grown on the island of Java, on rich volcanic soil.

If you are looking for a bitter, spicy coffee, rich in aromas and breaks the routine - this is the coffee for you.

Uganda (No. 13)

- The coffee grows in the rainforests of Uganda in mountainous areas, and in this capsule there is a combination of local arabica and robusta beans that yields very aromatic, sour, floral coffee (reminiscent of jasmine and dark chocolate), for those who like strong and special coffee.

And if there are no numbers?

There are letters

for those who, even in the low numbers, want to diversify and indulge, it is recommended to experiment with coffee with the addition of flavors.

A vanilla (V), caramel (C) or hazelnut (N) capsule will upgrade the drinking experience for those whose coffee taste is too strong.

The taste of the vanilla for example will add a fragrant aroma, floral and sweetness, and will suit a pampering inverted coffee.

A capsule with caramel flavors, will emphasize alongside coffee, flavors of sweet caramel, milk chocolate and a pronounced buttery taste.

It will work great in sweet cappuccino, and also in cold coffee on hot summer days.

What other concepts should you be familiar with?

Longo

- Longo capsules (with the letter L on the package), actually contain more coffee in each capsule (5.5 grams of coffee compared to 5 grams compared to the other capsules from the Elite Coffee series).

Their unique roasting technology is particularly long, the process creates a mixture that is especially suitable for making long espresso with or without milk: cappuccino, americano and macchiato.

Boost

- Boost capsules (identify them by the B on the package), are capsules with 20% more caffeine.

The blend incorporates Robusta varieties from Southeast Asia that naturally contain more caffeine.

The choice of these specific coffee varieties allows for a particularly stimulating espresso drink, for those looking for BOOST at the beginning, middle or end of the day.

decaff

And on the other hand, you will find D. Decaffeinated capsules, for those who avoid caffeine, each for its own reason, or for those who crave a treat of coffee in the evening.

This capsule has a caramel and walnut sweetness along with a subtle acidity and aroma.

Caffeine is taken in a unique and natural process based on water and CO2 without compromising the aroma and richness of the coffee.

Wonderful to drink as an espresso or with a little milk.

Now, after we have made some order for you, and you know all the types, you can purchase the capsule that is most suitable for you.
