Tomorrow, Monday, the General Secondary Certificate exams will start in all its branches, as 251,169 male and female students go to sit the exams for the first 2021-2022 session distributed among 2,249 centers in the governorates.
The general secondary exams for the scientific, legal, and professional branches will continue until June 21, and for the literary branch until the 19th.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the Director of Examinations at the Ministry of Education, Younes Fati, explained that the number of applicants for the general secondary certificate exams is 219,484 male and female students, including 78,986 for the literary stream and 140,498 for the scientific stream, distributed among 1,926 centers, 1,380 students in the Sharia secondary school, distributed over 29 centers, and 30,305 students in the vocational secondary school, distributed over 294 centers. experimentally.
Fati pointed out that the examination centers in the governorates are ready to receive students after completing the necessary preparations of stationery, observers and heads of centers in cooperation with the concerned authorities in each governorate, indicating that the directorates of education in the governorates (Aleppo, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Hama and rural Damascus) received students and students from the organizations-controlled areas The armed terrorist and from Lebanon to take the general exams in their hosting centers close to their exam centers.
