"Mickey Boganim straight up caught me"

The starting point in the life of Maor Kiddushim (28), the star's hair stylist known as "Maorit do it for me", was not simple to say the least.

He's Tel Avivian in every way (even though he grew up in Netanya), in a relationship for three years and work is literally his life. "I'm very busy right now but I'm addicted and love it By evening.

My studio is located on Ehad Ha'am Street in Tel Aviv, where I am 3-4 times a week and receive clients.

This is the kingdom and this is the heart first of all.

Beyond that, I go out a lot for photos for campaigns or commercials and accompany my talents. "

The story of Kiddushim is about a boy who did not believe he would succeed, and succeeded in a big way.

"I grew up as a different child, and when you grow up with this feeling and the environment takes care to let you feel it, then you do not exactly believe in yourself. A child born with a cleft lip, fat, feminine, different from the natural landscape in Netanya. "You and what you are, the feeling is that you always have to please people to cover the difference. My starting point was really not simple, but of course today it is light years away from me."

Hair styling, where did it all start?

Basically throughout my teenage years it was like getting an occasional phone call from Mickey Bogen's barber shop if I could come help before the holidays or join in the filming.

As a child who does not believe in himself, it was one of the most exciting things that could have happened to me, it opened a lot of doors for me. "

"Adi Ashkenazi is my best friend in the world"

And the phones really started to arrive, the women fell in love.

"Things just happened. For many years I did not believe it was happening, there is no way it's just Fox. But I know I'm good, in my work environment Confidence in the sky. Opportunities kept coming, I took them one after the other and just progressed but with a crazy 200% investment I gave of myself In every job. "

At this point you still operated from the lecturer place?

Children aged 15-16 constantly write to me on Instagram and it is important for me to set an example.

It enchants them how I came to the world of glamor and I always answer that this should not be the goal, first of all the most important thing is to love what you do and invest in it. "

Kiddushim is one of the leading hair stylists in the industry and is responsible for the hair shifts of Miri Mesika, Mia Dagan, Adi Ashkenazi, Shiri Maimon, Lola Marsh, Dana Frieder and many others.

Some have long since become his good friends.

When did the stars and celebs start coming?

What drew them to you?

"I did not plan to be 'The Book of the Celebs.' , And of course at the height of professionalism. You can also see it on the agenda in my studio, Mia Dagan or Shiri Maimon can sit next to my unnamed client from Be'er Sheva, for example, and exchange recipes between them. It's this fun and authentic thing I bring. Everything that connects me to the artists I "They are treated by the love of the profession and the art itself. Simplicity, an open heart and feet on the ground. With some of them, stunning friendships have been formed, such as my beloved Mia Dagan and Adi Ashkenazi, who is my best friend in the world."

"Only after I really accepted myself did love also come"

What about your personal style?

"My style is very casual. Lewis jeans, oversized t-shirt and sneakers only. To this I add pepper with side bags, some bling and Celine's no-get-away glasses. But our fashion industry is so inconsiderate. It's hard to be fat in the country , And it's terribly hard to be a fat gay in Tel Aviv who wants to feel cool and dress in style. I want to dress well for an event I have to pay thousands of shekels for a shirt. It's not cool, it's hard. I have no choice in the country so I find myself flying to Europe to buy vintage clothes in my size or I buy online. To shop in Israel and just find clothes. "

(Walla! Fashion is happy on this occasion to announce that the first plus size brand for men in Israel has been established called Ahrela Plus, TA)

You have done and united a process when it comes to your body image, where are you today with self-acceptance?

"I started as a kid who hates himself and just wants to change face and body. I did every possible diet, every possible workout, and even lost 60 pounds on my own.

I'm a mission person and did not understand how I manage in everything just not to lose weight, so I had to mark V for it.

After I lost weight I was sure it was, the big change would happen - but nothing happened.

I found myself even more insecure and even more disliked my body because I felt like an empty milk bag, so I decided to stop trying to fight to get the body image that was considered ‘right’.

I just put myself in a position where I'm fat and love myself.

I feel comfortable going to the sea to take off my shirt and feel glamorous.

Obviously there are days I get up and feel horrible, it still exists, I will not lie, but I came to a place where today I do not feel less good because I am plus size.

For years I was sure I would not find love because of the weight, especially in the proud scene in Tel Aviv, and only after I fell in love with myself and really accepted myself did the love come too.

As befits a professional and a true gentleman he is, Kiddushim does not cooperate with our attempts to hear some healthy gossip about which of the stars is the most devoted and on the other hand who insists on deciding, but he is willing to reveal that he is domineering and does not let anyone paint: In the chair, but when stars come and declare 'Mami comes to me for a change' I immediately calm the enthusiasm. "

You will immediately understand why.

"Girls, just try to be what you see on Instagram!"

What is the hottest hair trend for this coming summer?

"The good news is: Parsh Parsh Parsh. Clean, light and airy line. Both at the level of colors and at the level of haircuts. Totally Less is more. The last period is marked by a return to the simplicity, truth and color of everyone. Bringing the hair back to natural with a perfect texture. It's the hottest thing.Of course women have the need to wash and get out of the house so obviously the smoothies and colors are still with us, but you just have to find the balance between the chemical and the natural look and what really suits the woman in front of me. "Take over us, all the braids, the various tying flowers, and I am in favor of going for the softest and most natural hair."

And when you still have to do glam in productions, what's your inspiration?

"I really like old Hollywood, the fifties and sixties. My inspirations are Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe. I do not like to follow trends, I am a terrible person of classics. It is important to me that my works leave a mark even after a decade. Yes, you will find a fragrance in me. "Of trends or small twists in haircuts and hair styling for productions, but I stay connected to the clean and classic line. There is a large segment of people who appreciate it and in Long Ran I see it pays off."

Who do you dream of styling hair for and what makeover would you do for her?

"Lena Del Rey has been the love of my life. She and her music have gone through so many incarnations with me in my personal development. My dream is to make her hair and loosen it up a bit, I want to shake her hair she seems too made for me. Amy Winehouse, who unfortunately is no longer with us "It was my dream. Her character was very intriguing and attracted me, I would so much like to meet her and be her personal hair stylist to understand this soul that is so similar to me."

Finally, what is the biggest mistake Israeli girls make with their hair?

"Trying to turn their hair into something it is not. Enough girls, enough of trying to be what you see on Instagram. Strive to make your hair its best version and not stray thousands of light years away from your nature!"
