(ANSA) - CATANIA, MAY 31 - Financiers of the provincial command of Catania have denounced people who have unduly received the citizenship income, for damage to the State coffers estimated at over 225 thousand euros.
According to investigations by military personnel from the Riposto company, they allegedly "moved large sums of money to their online gaming accounts", considered by the investigators to be "noncongruous with respect to their income", and, the accusation denies, "they omitted to declare winnings obtained for more than 3.7 million euros ".
Their situation was reported not only to the Catania public prosecutor's office but also to the INPS, which collaborated in the investigations, for the suspension of the benefit and the recovery of the sums paid.
