These high school students from Nantes had to work on a subject they had never studied during the school year.

24 high school students from Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) presented themselves for their history baccalaureate test on Wednesday without having studied the right program during the school year, reports Europe 1.

These students from the Nelson-Mandela International High School made the discovery the day before the test: their teacher got the program wrong, they understood by talking with other high school students who were also studying for a double French baccalaureate and Spanish.

But they still had to come to the test.

The test in question: a subject on Spain in the 20th century, another on the decolonized people.

Nothing to do with their program.

“A lot of students left after two hours.

Some left after five hours, but completely in tears, ”says a candidate to LCI.

According to the radio, the parents of these elite students have mobilized so that the continuous control is taken into account rather than the note in this test probably failed for most of them.

In a press release quoted by Europe, the rectorate of Nantes assures that measures will be taken not to penalize the candidates.
