When he's not on the other side of the world or in his mountains, he lives at the top of a very old building tucked away in a narrow street in the heart of Paris.

He is not resentful because it was from the roof of a chalet that he fell several years ago and almost lost his life.
If he keeps a partially paralyzed face which, according to him, "gives him the air of a Prussian lieutenant of 1870", he has lost none of his wandering energy.
