The 9-euro ticket offers plenty of opportunities to travel through Germany.

Some routes are described below that are worth traveling on.

Berlin - The 9-euro ticket is here.

It allows people in Germany to use the regional trains in the country for a month free of charge.

There are some routes that you may not have traveled before that are worthwhile at least now that the journeys are cheap.

In addition to the journey from Hamburg to Sylt, which is now well known throughout Germany, there are also other routes in Germany that have a lot to offer.

9 euro ticket recommendation: From Munich to Füssen

For example, in the south it is possible for travelers to travel from Munich to Füssen.

The journey takes about two hours.

With the regional train you can start the journey every hour from Munich main station.

On the route it can happen that you have to change trains once, but there are also direct connections.

Theoretically, it would be possible to get off before Füssen on the journey.

In Kaufbeuren or in Marktoberdorf, for example, you can expect a quiet, Bavarian attitude to life.

These stops are good places to eat or walk on the way out or on the way back.

On the way towards Füssen you get closer and closer to the Alps.

Shortly before arrival you drive along the Hopfensee.

Arriving at the terminus, you can walk to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle.

9 euro ticket recommendation: From Berlin to Lübeck

Another route that can be covered with the regional train is from the capital Berlin to Lübeck.

The journey takes about four hours.

However, you have to change trains at least once on the journey.

Lübeck, located in Schleswig-Holstein, impresses with a beautiful old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In addition, Lübeck is just 15 minutes away from Timmendorfer Strand by regional train.

9 euro ticket recommendation: From Mainz to Cologne

In the west of the country there is a route that connects two larger cities.

Cologne can be reached from Mainz by regional train in about three hours.

There are both direct connections and trains with which you have to change once.

The journey along the Rhine through the vineyards is reason enough to start this journey.

On the way you can stop in the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn, or in Koblenz.

Another option would be to stop in nature near the palaces and castles to take a break and have a wine.

9 euro ticket recommendation: From Hamburg to Sylt

A trip that has been talked about a lot in advance is the trip from Hamburg Altona to Westerland on Sylt.

The journey takes over three hours without having to change trains.

On the journey you get more and more into the north German landscape and finally, shortly before arriving in Westerland, you drive over the Hindenburgdamm, which connects the island with the mainland.

Arrived on Sylt there are beautiful beaches where you can swim in the fresh North Sea.

On the other side there is also the Wadden Sea, where you can go hiking.

The nature on the island impresses with its beautiful appearance.
