Supporting a dream, protecting talent and giving the opportunity, even to those who have all the numbers but not the possibilities, to dedicate themselves to the sport they love.

Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura Little Tennis Champions was born with this objective, the scholarship program for young tennis players created by the I Tennis Foundation and supported by Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura.

A project of high tennis preparation, didactic training and international competitive offer dedicated to young talents belonging to less affluent families, which is part of the philosophy of 'Protection and Sport' of Area X, the initiative of Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura born with the aim to spread the culture of protection and developed in the experiential space created by Intesa Sanpaolo ensures in the center of Turin.

The call with which the 12 participants will be chosen, 6 girls and 6 boys born in 2008 and 2009, is open until June 20 and the selections will take place on the basis of a solidarity and merit-based criterion.

The program, which runs between July and April, includes 5 weeks of tennis training, 8 of Tennis Europe tournaments, 4 training sessions and 6 complementary training courses, with activities such as mental coaching, English and journalism and sports management courses and training on insurance protection and protection issues by the Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura team.

At the tennis level, the 12 talents will not only be trained but will also be able to participate in important European tennis tournaments under the supervision of an exceptional technical committee directed by Emilio Sanchez and composed of Francesca Schiavone, Ivan Ljubicic, Gipo Arbino and Rocco Loccisano.

The training stays will be hosted by some of the best international tennis facilities, the Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, the Emilio Sanchez Academy in Barcelona, ​​the first tennis academy in Europe, and the Ljubicic Tennis Academy in Croatia.

The best four of the first phase will play the international tournament at the beginning of November at the Rafa Nadal Academy, while all twelve will participate in a training session in Turin during the Nitto Atp Finals.
