The western drama "Yellowstone," starring Kevin Costner, is the most-watched television series in the U.S. in the 2022-2021 season, according to data from the annual rating on American television of the American rating index Nielsen.
"Yellowstone," which aired in 2018, gradually became a television hit, when it was done entirely under the radar, and it marked the comeback of the 67-year-old Costner.
Costner plays John Dutton, a sixth-generation U.S. farm owner who faces power struggles among his family and opponents in Montana.
TV critics tend to point out that the significant power of the series is the traditional values of conservative America that it expresses.
This is probably why it attracts a large audience, one that still regularly watches TV and not one that consumes content on streaming services.
The fourth season of the series, which aired last winter on a relatively small cable channel owned by Paramount Studios, leads the ratings data of the past year in the U.S., both overall viewers (with a weekly average of 11.3 million viewers) and among the age group 49-18, which is considered Among advertisers think the most (2.7 million viewers on average from this age range).

Among the reality shows, "De Weiss" leads with mentor Ariana Grande.
"Survival" finished this year with an average of 7.4 million viewers, after a year-long absence due to the corona.
She pushed down in the table programs like "The Singer in the Mask" and "Dancing with the Stars" that had lost their power this year.
At the bottom of the list of the 100 most-watched series in the U.S. are the comedy series "Mr. Mayor" with Ted Danson, and the musical drama "Queen." Both were canceled by the television networks in which they aired.
