(ANSA) - TOKYO, JUN 06 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts trading in negative, following the contraction of the US stock market and awaiting indications from the services sector in China, after those from the manufacturing sector slightly below the threshold which shows a phase expansion.
The Nikkei benchmark index fell by 0.51% in the first session of the week to 27,619.16, with a loss of 142 points.
On the currency market, the yen weakens against the dollar to 130.70 and 140.20 against the euro.
