According to the user, the price of a packet of butter has increased from 1.79 euros to 3.29 euros at the beginning of the year.
In comparison, however, the price of milk has not increased and quark, yoghurt and cream have not become significantly more expensive.

It seems that this Twitter user is not the only one who has noticed this problem.
Another user also shared the price development of another butter brand: "Just crazy how the prices are increasing," he wrote.
It was a 500 gram pack of butter that cost six euros.
The approval in the comments of the two tweets was great.
It's a problem that seems to affect many consumers.
The originator of the first tweet even linked a recipe for making your own butter.
