In February, Brad Pitt filed a complaint against Angelina Jolie, after the sale by the actress of part of their French vineyard.
Since then, the actor has accused his ex-wife of having "intentionally harmed" him through this transaction.
Evidenced by court documents, dated Friday, June 3 and unveiled by the

claims that in October 2021, Angelina Jolie sold her share of the Miraval estate “to a stranger with toxic intentions and networks”.
According to him, the Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler, the new buyer of the wine estate, intends to take full control of it.

The "passion" of Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt's team of lawyers maintains that the businessman, who also owns the vodka brand Stoli, is trying to "get his hands on confidential and exclusive information for the benefit of his competing company".
To do this, Yuri Shefler allegedly set up “ruthless business tactics and dubious professional associations”.
All, with the approval of Angelina Jolie, they assure.
They also believe that the Stoli brand has failed in its “desperate attempts to dissociate itself from the Putin regime”.
"Jolie knew and wanted Shefler and his allies to attempt to control the business Pitt built, to undermine his investment in the Miraval estate," they wrote in the legal documents, calling the actress' conduct "unlawful and criminal”.
Spokespersons for the actress have yet to respond to the allegations.
The comedian's team further points out, in the legal documents, how the latter developed a "passion" for the wine project, which became "a global company worth several million dollars" and one of the "producers of rosé the most esteemed in the world”.

“Angry and resentful”?
Brad Pitt also recalls that his ex-wife broke the agreement they had concluded together at the end of the 2000s. This stipulated that the ex-spouses should not sell their share of the vineyard without mutual approval.
The actor thus criticizes Angelina Jolie for having carried out this sale “in secret, by concealing it from him and by violating his contractual rights”.
Especially since the sale, according to him, took place at a turning point in the trial which opposes them about the custody of their children.
A judge had then just granted joint custody – of “50/50” – to Brad Pitt, and this, against the will of the actress.
While the decision was later overturned, the actress “was furious and resentful,” an unnamed source told the tabloid.
The former couple had acquired the Château de Miraval, in Correns, in 2008, and had celebrated their marriage there in 2014.
