In total, according to data from the Interior Ministry, there are
51,533,195 voters
of which 25,039,273 are men and 26,493,922 are women.
Before counting the Yes or No, we look at the quorum: the precondition for the abrogative referendums to be valid is that half plus one of those entitled to go to the polls.
In 2016, for the referendum for drilling for hydrocarbon extraction, less than one in three voters voted, so the quorum was not reached, while 5 years earlier in the referendums on water the turnout was 54%.

The polling stations will remain open on Sunday only,
from 7 to 23;
the count will start from the referendum, and then pass, from 2 pm on Monday, to the ballots for the municipal and any district elections.
Anti-Covid 19 procedures are also envisaged for this electoral round. A decree passed by the government guarantees the possibility of voting for positive voters, hospitalized or in isolation at home.
