(ANSA) - TOKYO, June 07 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins trading with a slight increase, in the wake of the recovery of the US stock market and with investors who anticipate a gradual opening of the tourism sector in Japan and the introduction of new incentives by the government.
The Nikkei advanced by 0.22% to 27,977.53, with a gain of 61 points.
On the currency market, the yen appreciates further against the dollar, reaching a new low in over 20 years at 132.10, and against the euro, at 141.20.
