More than two and a half years have passed since the Disney Plus streaming service was launched, and next week it will finally arrive in Israel.
Just before, the company published today (Wednesday) the list of content that will go up in the country with its launch next Thursday, June 16, and there is no doubt what to expect - a lot, to be exact.
On launch day, more than 1,000 movies, more than 400 series and more than 120 original content from the company will be added to the service, in addition to all-time titles from Disney, which has a huge amount of content, including all movies and series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (including The spoken-word series "Wundhouse" and "Moon Night"), all movies and series from the "Star Wars" universe (including the esteemed "Mandelorian" and the new "Obi-Wan-Knobi"), series of services of Disney subsidiaries (Fox, FX and Hollow, which will be distributed here under its international name - Star) and of course also the company's all-time favorite classics.
They too will come.

You will also find a variety of favorite animated films that you grew up on, from "The Lion King" and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ", to newer films, such as the Oscar winners" Soul "(by Pixar, all of whose films will also appear in the service) and" Ancanto ". According to a statement issued by the company, the price of the service will increase NIS 39.90 per month with a monthly fee or NIS 399 per year with an annual fee) - but those who register in advance until the day the service is launched in Israel (and will realize it by June 26) will be able to pay NIS 319 per year.

Disney Plus subscribers will be able to use the streaming service for up to four devices simultaneously, perform unlimited content downloads for up to 10 devices and set up to seven different profiles, including a child profile.
It is worth noting that many of the content that will appear in the service will have the option of dubbing or translating into Hebrew, but there will also be content without translation or dubbing at all.
It is expected that Disney will not download its existing content from the other companies that broadcast it in the country, such as the successful drama series "Grey's Anatomy" or the acclaimed comedy "Atlanta" like the beloved animated series "Family Man", but its new content is expected to be broadcast exclusively on Disney Plus.
Since Disney launched Disney Plus in November 2019, it has registered about 140 million users from 60 countries.
In that short time, the service has managed to give a huge battle to its biggest competitor, Netflix, which has about 220 million users.
You can't avoid them, even at Disney.
