(ANSA) - PERUGIA, 08 JUN - "Peace in Ukraine and fiscal peace in Italy means going back to work": the leader of the League, Matteo Salvini said, speaking with journalists this morning in Todi where he arrived to meet citizens in view of the upcoming elections administrative.
"Working for peace is everyone's right and duty", he said, and then added: "The more the war in Ukraine goes on, the more petrol, electricity, gas, shopping and paying the mortgage increase. I hope Italy, Europe , France, Germany bring words and reasoning of peace. The urgency is disarmament and a ceasefire otherwise if hatred is answered with other hatred, here in six months we are still commenting on deaths and war, hunger and unemployment ".
With regard to the "fiscal peace" he then added: "At the Italian level there is another peace which is the fiscal one, scrapping 100 million of Equitalia's arrears of tax bills that seek to leave in the next few days and massacre millions of Italians who after Covid do not they do it more ".
