The NEB Festival, launched by von der Leyen who brought together creatives from all over the Union - architects, artists, designers, scientists, entrepreneurs and citizens - aims to build together a sustainable, inclusive and beautiful future.
NEB draws inspiration from the multidisciplinarity of the Bauhaus, the famous school of art and design born in Germany in 1919, in a moment of great complexity such as the current one and today a reference model for the European Green Deal.
The main venue of the Festival, which will take place
from 9 to 12 June 2022
, is Brussels, and there will be over 300 events in presence and online in all EU countries (https://new-european-bauhaus-festival.eu ).
An opportunity therefore to network the worlds of research, science and technology, education and civil commitment, art and architecture to reflect and understand how to create a
sustainable future together.
