Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band were not seen for a long time.
In 2016 and 2017 the musician went on tour with »The River Tour«.
After that, there were only a few joint appearances, such as on the US comedy show "Saturday Night Live" 2020. A new European tour is now on the program - and a year earlier there was a first foretaste: At a concert by the Rock band Coldplay in the US city of East Rutherford, "The Boss" performed as a surprise guest.
During the MetLife Stadium show, the 72-year-old joined Coldplay on stage.
There Chris Martin greeted him as a "hero".
The band then performed his 2009 song "Working on a Dream" with Springsteen. This was followed by his Grammy hit "Dancing in the Dark" from his album "Born in the USA" (1984), with Martin singing on backing.
Bruce Springsteen returns to Europe in 2023 after a six-year break.
Tickets for his three appearances in Germany in Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Munich were sold out within minutes, according to Rolling Stone magazine.
