June's free games are available now for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
However, few players can be satisfied this month.
On June 7th, the new free games of the month were released on PlayStation Plus.
It's always exciting for players to see what titles will be available for free next.
Over the years, there have been real highlights on a regular basis - at first glance, this seems to be the case again in June.
However, only a few PlayStation players will enjoy the top title this month.
PS Plus in June: "God of War" only interesting for a few players
The PS Plus free games for June are:
God of War 2018
(PS4 version)

(PS4 version)

(PS5 & PS4 Versions)
As usual, there is a highlight among the free games as well as two smaller games.
There is no question that
"God of War" is one of the best games for the PS4
, but many subscribers still frown.
On Reddit, the user “ajs723” explains why “God of War” as a free game will probably only make very few players happy.
God of War as a free game is only exciting for PS4 owners as it is already included for
free
in the PlayStation Plus Collection
for all PS5 owners
.
Also, "God of War" was released four years ago and since then
it has often been available at discounted prices
.
What's more, it's already included with PS Now and coming soon with PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium subscriptions.
If you haven't been able to play it yet, you also have the option of borrowing the game from someone.
It's true that most PlayStation players already own and have played God of War.
But it is unavoidable that the free games now and then contain titles that you already have in your games library.
"God of War": Sony prepares players for part two
There's probably a good reason why God of War is in the PS Plus games selection for June.
This year the release of the sequel "God of War: Ragnarok" is imminent.
Sony is therefore already stirring the advertising drum and wants to pick up the last players who have not yet played the first part.
It could also be good that the developers will soon publish more information about the release or new trailers.
There is currently no fixed release date for God of War: Ragnarok.
