Product recall: do not eat these duck merguez or these salads

The duck merguez of the brand "Les Thomasines" and the sausages of the brand "Vallégrain" are recalled after a suspicion of meadows

The duck merguez brand "Les Thomasines", sold until yesterday in most supermarkets, should not be eaten after suspected salmonella contamination.

"Food poisoning caused by salmonella results in gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, vomiting) of sudden onset often accompanied by fever and headaches which generally occur 6 to 72 hours after consumption of the contaminated products. “, write the authorities in the reminder sheet.

The product concerned is therefore the pack of six vacuum-packed duck merguez, sold in Auchan, Carrefour Market, Hyper U, Intermarché, Leclerc and Super U supermarkets between May 30 and June 8, 2022, everywhere in France.

The affected lot - 22150303 - has barcode 3700518702751 and has a best before date between June 12 and June 14, 2022.

This Thursday, too, another product recall was initiated for Vallégrain brand products.

Salmonella have also been identified in these sausages.

Intermarché recalls its salads

Intermarché and its hard-discount brand Netto have also launched a recall of its salads containing potatoes - Strasbourg salad, Fisherman's salad and Montbéliarde salad from the Producers & Traders brand, Piedmontese with ham from the Top Budget brand and Strasbourg salad, Breton salad, Piedmontese from Monique Ranou and Netto.

"The potatoes contained in the product may have an organoleptic defect probably due to microbial development", warn the authorities, calling for them to be brought back immediately.
