The US musician and R&B star R. Kelly was found guilty in the trial for the sexual abuse of minors last September, but the sentence is still pending.
Prosecutors are now demanding at least 25 years in prison for Kelly.
This emerges from a submission to the federal court in the New York borough of Brooklyn.
Kelly has used his fame and fortune for over 25 years to sexually exploit women and underage girls.
In doing so, he had shown a "feeling disregard" for his victims and showed no remorse.
The defendant's decades-long crimes appear to have been fueled by narcissism and a belief that his musical talents relieve him of the need to conform his behavior - no matter how predatory, harmful, degrading or abusive to others - to the strictness of the law ", according to the public prosecutor's office.
Kelly, 55, remains a "serious danger" to the public.
That justifies a prison sentence until he is older than 70 years old.

Jennifer Bonjean, one of Kelly's lawyers, had asked for a sentence of less than 14 years for her client.
In a submission next Monday, she will explain why his "history and characteristics" justify a shorter sentence.
Kelly's lawyer initially did not want to comment on the prosecutor's request.
Kelly's sentence is scheduled to be announced on June 29.
The musician - best known for his hit "I Believe I Can Fly" - has been in prison since his arrest in the summer of 2019.
Now he faces a prison sentence of at least ten years.
Kelly was accused of, among other things, sexual exploitation of minors, kidnapping and forced labor in the years 1994 to 2018.
The public prosecutor charged him with having built up a whole network of helpers.
A jury convicted him on all nine counts, including under a law against criminal organizations such as the mafia.
During the trial in federal court in the Brooklyn borough of New York, eleven victims testified, nine women and two men.
Six of them were minors when Kelly abused them.
