The couple, the family and that with the luxurious villas: we checked out 3 great hotels in Cyprus
The louis hotel chain has celebrated its 80th anniversary and holds the title of "the largest and oldest chain in Cyprus".
We went out to check out some of her hotels on the island, including the family one with the slides in the pool, and also its double and quiet luxurious villas

I will open with a confession: When I was offered to fly to Cyprus, I hesitated for a long time.
I never visited it, but the first images that jumped out at me included brawls with crown chairs in the pool, loud kids and teens who came to unload any burden, whether to bother tourism or throw a TV into the pool.
But hey, even a front row brawl is an experience, so I agreed.
Spoiler: It was the best decision I've made in the last month and it's a lot.
The louis hotel chain has celebrated its 80th anniversary and holds the title of the largest and oldest chain in Cyprus.
Just before the big holiday arrives and Israeli families close all-inclusive vacations, I was privileged to stay in three of the 18 hotels and resorts, and what do you know, I survived to tell.

Hottest recommendation: Do not fly in August
After a short flight and a trip to Paphos, we arrived
at the Lewis Hotel Ledera Beach
.
The reception from the staff was very warm, and it is evident that they are excited to meet the tourists after the difficult corona years that have fatally damaged the industry.
Will they miss tourists at the end of August?
Probably not, and this is the hottest recommendation I can give you: fly in May, June or September, when the weather is perfect for paddling in the pool and lazing on the beach, but no girl named Adele will listen to music in a box a meter away from you.
The hotel has four pools, including an indoor pool and an adults-only pool.
There is a luxurious spa, activities for children and a varied dining room.
Apart from it, the hotel operates an Italian restaurant where we dined in the evening.
Customers of the all-inclusive package will be able to dine in it once a day, of their choice.
The food, in case you were wondering, is crazy and will make everyone feel like they are in Milan for one evening.
The hotel itself is located on a clean and beautiful strip of beach, and hotel guests are entitled to sun beds and parasols.
The next day we packed our bags and drove to Limassol, where we visited a five-star hotel operated by the chain.
It was the most luxurious, pampering and beautiful hotel of the three.
The Royal Apollonia
has three swimming pools, the main one of which has a bar and a beautiful view of the sea.
The place has an award-winning spa that offers a variety of pampering treatments, two tennis courts in case you are terribly bored and three restaurants.
We spent dinner at the Japanese restaurant AKAKIKO, and although I avoid nice seafood and fish, the sighs of pleasure my colleagues produced left no room for doubt about the quality and freshness of the food.
In general, if you are a fan of the genre, Cyprus is a culinary paradise in this sector.
For the discerning, there are vegetarian rolls, tofu and far-reaching consideration in each guest's palate.

Do you have children?
You won
Our last night in Cyprus was full of plot twists.
After an hour's drive, we arrived
at the Althia Beach Hotel in
Protaras.
Do you have children?
You have won, because it is a paradise for families.
The rooms are built as small apartments that have a beautifully equipped kitchen so you can cook together.
The pools have facilities for children, there are plenty of lawns and in what performances are held.
Singles or couples without children will not make the most of the hotel, which screams all over "Nehorai, Nehorai, mother is waiting for you at the lifeguard booth."
After settling in and visiting the beach strip next to the hotel, a surprise awaited us: beyond the villas the hotel offers.
Although they are adjacent to it, they are built like a besieged and quiet neighborhood, so guests have a lot of privacy.
The villas have a fully equipped kitchen, from cutlery to a grater, a coffee machine, a spacious living room and a luxurious dining area. The courtyard has a private pool, and on the top floor there are three double bedrooms.
The villas upgrade the hotel wonderfully, and since the prices are relatively affordable for vacations in the country, they provide an alternative for those who want to stay in the hotel, but avoid the noise that children bring with them.
Next to the hotel there is a restaurant that specializes in fish and seafood, but also offers burgers, salads and a variety of vegetarian dishes.

Local taverns and authentic restaurants
If you decide to spend your summer vacation in Cyprus, try dining at local taverns and authentic restaurants.
The food is delicious and incredibly fresh, and it's a shame to waste time on fast food restaurants.
It is important to remember that driving in the place is on the left, just like in England, so car renters need to take this into account.
The local landscape did not particularly impress me and the further away from the coast, one finds that most places look, well, like Israel coming from the lower city of Haifa.
If you are interested in real relaxation, relaxing spa treatments and plenty of cocktails, at prices that will not force you to give up, this is a close destination that welcomes the Israeli tourist.
And do yourself a favor, do not throw TVs in the hotel pool.
Our reputation in the world no longer allows for diplomatic incidents.
