Because the security service could not provide enough security forces, Bayerischer Rundfunk canceled the "Pulse" open air planned for this weekend. Visitors who had already arrived had to leave again.

After a two-year corona break, visitors should dance again at the "Puls" open air of the Bayerischer Rundfunk at the weekend.

But things turned out differently.

The festival had to be canceled prematurely.

The reason: lack of security guards.

According to a press release by Bayerischer Rundfunk, the commissioned security service was unable to provide the agreed number of security forces due to “significant staff shortages”.

The safety of concert operations can no longer be guaranteed.

After consultation with the police and fire brigade, it was decided to end the festival.

The visitors were asked to leave the campsite in a controlled manner or not to arrive at all.

At the two-day open-air event at Kaltenberg Castle in the Bavarian municipality of Geltendorf, the rapper Casper, the indie band Von Wegen Lisbeth and the hip-hop group Die Orsons were to perform on Friday and Saturday.
