The police arrested a suspect after a fatal bump at a Hamburg S-Bahn station.
The 62-year-old was arrested at Hamburg Airport on Thursday evening, the police said.
It was said that he was strongly suspected of intentionally bumping into another man on Tuesday and causing him to fall.
The victim was hit by a train and died.
Surveillance cameras reportedly recorded the incident.
According to the police, the 56-year-old rolled his bike over a platform at the Ohlsdorf S-Bahn station, standing with one foot on a pedal.
The stranger bumped into him "apparently deliberately".
The cyclist fell between two carriages of an approaching S-Bahn and was trapped between the train and the edge of the platform.
He was injured so badly that he died on the spot.
The suspect, who was initially unknown, left the S-Bahn station.
The man has been searched for ever since.
Evidence was also secured during the arrest, the police said.
The Homicide Squad and the Capital Crimes Unit of the District Attorney's Office are investigating a homicide.
