The new Xbox app brings games directly to the TV via cloud gaming.
It is already available at the end of June.
Microsoft eliminates the need for consoles or PCs for gaming.
Cloud gaming makes it possible, with which current and demanding titles can also be played on other platforms – including smartphones and tablets.

In collaboration with Samsung, Microsoft is releasing the new
Xbox app for smart TVs
that allows games from the Xbox Game Pass library to be played directly on the TV - without a console.
Over 100 different titles are available, including "Halo Infinite" or "Forza Horizon 5".
The app
will be released on June 30th

What TVs is the Xbox app available on?
The Xbox app is
exclusive to Samsung TVs

It must also be a model that was launched in 2022.
The Xbox TV app works similar to other streaming apps on smart TVs: you simply sign in with your Microsoft account through the app and stream Xbox games to the TV via Cloud Gaming in a browser.
What Xbox Game Pass membership is required?
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership is required to use cloud gaming via the Xbox app on TV.
An exception is the popular battle royale shooter "Fortnite", which can also be played without a Game Pass subscription.

Can I connect Xbox controllers?
The Xbox app will support a wide range of controllers, including the Xbox controllers and even the PS5's DualSense.
The controller is connected to the television via Bluetooth and then you can start.
