Finland refuses NATO membership without Sweden.
Helsinki will not join the Alliance if
Stockholm's problems with Turkey
lead to the postponement of Sweden's membership.
This was stated today by Finnish President
Sauli Niinisto
at a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, according to local media reports.
"The case of Sweden is ours too. This means that
we go hand in hand
," said Niinisto.
