"Once the procedure for verifying the strict compliance with the conditions identified by the Council has been completed, the structures of the national health service cannot take obstructive attitudes, nor is it conceivable that the costs are borne by the patient".
The Minister of Health Roberto Speranza assures this with an intervention in La Stampa in reference to the case of "Mario", the Marchesman who asks for medically assisted suicide but has to pay for the drug.
"The government, where it is needed, will not miss a timely clarification and intervention".
