"Diablo Immortal": Fans were initially not enthusiastic
The announcement of "Diablo Immortal" was initially received very negatively by the fans of the series.
"Is this a belated April Fool's joke?" was the rhetorical question from one attendee to the developers at Blizzcon 2018. The reason for the excitement was that "Diablo Immortal"
was originally planned as a mobile exclusive
, but the "Diablo" fans mostly play on PC.
However, there is no denying that mobile games have had the most players across all platforms for the last few years.
Nevertheless, the developers listened to the fans and announced that they would also release "Diablo Immortal" as a PC version.
