Burgul
Burgundy is one of the most popular raw materials in Mediterranean cuisines and is rich in B vitamins as well as minerals such as calcium and iron.
The burgul is made from whole wheat, cooked until softened, dried in special ovens and shredded, which significantly shortens the cooking time and makes the burgul a perfect raw material for making quick dishes.
The degree of grinding of the burgundy affects its behavior in the kitchen and we usually know it coarsely or thinly ground.
We are used to incorporating the burgul in the tabbouleh salad or making majdera from it, but there are lots of other excellent and delicious dishes that can be made from it.

Tochsher turns it into a light and nutritious vegetarian meal that is easily prepared.
She replaces the traditional rice in the dish with a well-seasoned burgul with carrots, chickpeas, fried onions and, if you like, raisins that add a subtle sweetness, and the result is a vegetarian, delicious and unusual osprey.
Suitable for dinner or lunch, easy to pack and take to work and can also be used as a tasty and different addition to family meals.

Burgundy falafel in the oven
You opened the bag of burgul, what do you do with what's left?
Agile falafel for dinner.
Yes, what you hear is a nimble burgul falafel that does not require pre-soaking and even without frying.
The only problem with making a classic homemade falafel, is that you have to remember to soak the chickpeas in advance, which makes the whole thing a little less spontaneous.
The solution - burgul falafel that is prepared in a few minutes with fresh herbs and cooked chickpeas (can also reduce canning).
And if you are not yet convinced to run and make it, we will tell you that this falafel does not even require standing over an oil pot and filling the whole house with the smell of fryers, because this falafel is simply baked in the oven.
