Minced meat recall started - Penny branches in several federal states affected
Due to the wrong designation, the manufacturer immediately had the affected product removed from sale, according to the website of
WestfalenLand Fleischwaren GmbH.
Products with different best-before dates or batches are not affected by the precautionary measure.
The product with the incorrect article description was sold in Penny stores in the federal states of Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Bremen and parts of NRW, according to the manufacturer.
With this recall, too, consumers have the option of returning the affected product to the store and getting their money back even without presenting the receipt.
Recently there was also a recall due to suspected listeria in certain types of cheese: consumers were asked not to consume the types under any circumstances, but to return them.
