After a series of private and targeted openings, Norway officially opened its new national museum in Oslo on Saturday June 11 to the public, very close to the dark red brick City Hall of the Norwegian capital.

Almost discreet from the outside, with its gray mass that dissolves laterally into its surroundings, the new and sober Nasjonalmuseet, in gray schist, marble, bronze and oak by German architects Schuwerk + Kleihues, is intended to be durable in every way.
