The adventurer, who had disappointed in his performance throughout the TF1 game, took his revenge in the penultimate broadcast episode.

He dreamed of it, he did it.

In the episode of “Koh-Lanta: the cursed totem” broadcast this Tuesday evening on TF 1, Jean-Charles finally won a test.

And not just any, since the orientation was the last step before the final fight on the mythical posts.

"I don't really believe in it that I'm still here", admitted Jean-Charles on the morning of the 38th day of the adventure.

It must be said that so far the fustier (constructor of houses and furniture made of logs) had performed poorly in the tests, often finishing in last position.

Always sympathetic, he nevertheless took advantage of his good understanding with his former red tribe to slip through the cracks at each elimination board.

He was also helped by the discovery of an immunity collar.

In orientation, on the other hand, the five adventurers still in the running – Jean-Charles, Géraldine, François, Bastien and Ambre – could only count on themselves to find the daggers synonymous with qualification.

As usual, they first had to locate a landmark (the mottled stone, the clump of bamboo or the upright stump) then search within a radius of fifteen paces in order to unearth a beacon.

On it, a number of steps and a color corresponding to a direction indicated where to find one of the hidden sesames.

A race won in just 36 minutes

François, alone in his search area, found the bamboo bouquet first, but then stalled.

Jean-Charles quickly discovered the mottled stone, soon joined by Amber.

The 40-year-old candidate then unearthed the beacon and, once the direction was collected at the orientation table, he had no difficulty brandishing the dagger.

In just 36 minutes, he was able to let his joy burst.

“I can't believe it, it's the revenge of the unranked!

he launched in front of the host Denis Brogniart.

Ambre had to fall back on the search area of his friend François, while Bastien for his part found the beacon of the erect stump, but he got the wrong color on the orientation table!

Geraldine, she did not confuse the green with the sky blue and got her hands on the second dagger even if Bastien, aware of his mistake, had decided to stick to his coattails in his excavations.

For third place, François ended up getting out of it.

In an unprecedented duel in the history of the show, Ambre and Bastien faced each other in a second, shorter orientation test.

Despite a certain advance, Ambre failed in her research and Bastien obtained the fourth qualifying dagger.

He will play the last event on a cursed post, which should disadvantage him, but the details of this handicap will not be revealed until next week.

Once all the adventurers gathered on the beach, Jean-Charles once again expressed his relief: “It's complete happiness (…) I was ridiculous all along (…) For me, it erases everything else, my Koh-Lanta is complete!

“Same satisfaction for Géraldine, very moved.

It is true that these two were far from favorites that morning.

As for François, he believes that Bastien is the best equipped to last the longest on the posts but that the curse he will suffer should rebalance the forces present.

This last test will be to be discovered next Tuesday, followed by the counting, live in Paris, designating the ultimate survivor.
