At the turn of the month, the logistics group DHL planned an innovation: the prices for national and international parcel shipping will increase from July 2022.
Munich – DHL customers recently had to adapt to a major change at the Packstations and now the next change will follow on July 1st: As the parcel service DHL reports, the prices for national and international parcel shipping will be adjusted at the end of the month.

DHL: adjustment of prices to increased costs
The price adjustment is the company's response to the "significant increase in transport and labor costs and other general cost increases," DHL said on Monday (June 13).
With this change, the price advantage of up to 1.50 euros for parcel and parcel stamps purchased online will no longer apply.
The branch prices for parcels in sizes S and M will also be adjusted, according to DHL.
DHL change for national and international parcel shipping: This is how much customers will pay from July
From July, customers will have to pay EUR 3.99 for a size S parcel instead of the previous price of EUR 3.79.
Sending a size M parcel will in future cost 4.79 euros instead of the previous 4.50 euros.
However, not everything will be more expensive: The 5-kilogram package “most frequently used by private customers” will be reduced to 6.99 euros, DHL explained.
So far, shipping such a package has cost 7.49 euros.
Nothing changes for the DHL package up to 31.5 kilograms.
The price will remain at 16.49 euros from July.
DHL change: Parcel shipping abroad will be significantly more expensive
The planned price increase for the international shipping of parcels and parcels is particularly significant.
The reason is the sometimes “extreme increase in flight rates” and rising prices for delivery partners abroad.
Customers who send a package to the USA, for example, will soon have to pay twice the previous price.
