Google Cloud opens two regions in Italy for cloud services.
The new Google Cloud Regions of Milan and Turin, and the potential they offer for the Italian economy, will be presented on June 15 at the digital event 'The cloud.
Designed for Italy 'at the MiCo in Milan.
The appointment will also be streamed on ANSA.it starting at 9.30.
The two Regions, explains Google Cloud, will host cloud infrastructure to offer customers more intelligent analysis tools, network services, data processing, management and storage and big data and an open and secure platform, connected to the private network of Google Cloud, for have global access to all Google Cloud Platform services.
Italy is the first country in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) to host two Google Cloud Regions.
Other Regions are already present in Europe in London, Zurich, Frankfurt, Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland.
Presenting the Google Cloud Regions of Milan and Turin will be the CEO of Google Cloud, Thomas Kurian, and the Italy Country Manager of the company, Fabio Fregi.
The event will be attended by, among others, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Alessandra Todde, the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Tim, Pietro Labriola.
