Strange Rewe product causes a stir online: "Drinking for peace"

A vodka in the supermarket causes a sensation on the internet.
This is not a fake product that Rewe currently has on the shelf.
Cologne/Munich - A Rewe customer cannot believe his eyes when shopping.
When he looks at the supermarket shelf for alcoholic beverages, he immediately picks up his cell phone and takes a photo of the hard liquor from the "new" vodka brand "Zelensky".
The photo immediately ended up on Twitter.
And triggers violent reactions among users there, too.
Other Twitter users were initially outraged by the vodka.
"I can not believe it.
It's getting more and more unbearable," one user commented, and another user, apparently equally upset at the perceived unethical marketing strategy, wrote: "Money talks and bullshit walks".
One Twitter user summed up the action in simple terms for what's behind the "Vodka Zelensky" - he commented: "Booze for Ukraine" accompanied by a laughing emoji.
The simple label clearly shows the colors of the Ukrainian national flag.
And as if to clear up any misunderstandings, the likeness of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is embedded in the center of the label.

There is also a user who can definitely gain something from the campaign.
"It's nice that you now have the choice between Russian Standard and Vodka Selensky."
Rewe product: Sale of the vodka should help Ukraine victims
Behind the action are said to be five entrepreneurs who, shaken by the events of the Ukraine war, have joined forces.
The vodka with the catchy name is produced in Switzerland and Germany, explains the company "Vodka 4 Peace" on its website.

The sale of the vodka is intended to make a contribution to Ukraine.
According to “Vodka 4 Peace”, the associated #HelpUkraine campaign
promote peace and help those injured in war.
"That's why we immediately donate at least 5 euros from every bottle sold to help Ukraine," the company writes on its website.
