For 2022, it lasted for five hours, during which students solved a set of problems that require a high level of analysis, logical thinking, and programming algorithms.

Dr. Salah Al-Dawhji, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering at Damascus University explained that this competition is the first stage of the national championship for the university programming competition, which is scheduled to be held on the twenty-third of this month, from which a group of teams will also qualify for the regional championship and then to the world championship.

From the judging team, Nour Masri from Aleppo University explained that each of the issues presented in the competition includes a small story or a life problem that needs to be solved, or a group of complex games that contain more than one test, indicating that the competition gives the participants experience and speed of intuition in solving software problems and gives them new methods In this area.

The competition concluded this evening, and as a result, 13 teams qualified for the national championship. It aims to enhance creativity and teamwork and encourage students to build new software.
