The guesswork begins: Beyoncé deleted all of her profile photos and is now making fans suspicious with a cryptic message. »Renaissance« could be her first major solo album since »Lemonade«.

So the advertising and speculation machine is thrown on: Pop star Beyoncé will release a new album on July 29th.

Or at least some kind of music.

What exactly is not entirely clear.

That is of course part of the concept.

First, Beyoncé made her fans suspicious by deleting the profile photos on her social media.

Finally, on Thursday, she wrote the cryptic message "act i / RENAISSANCE / 7.29" in her Twitter bio.

It is obvious that this will be an album entitled »Renaissance«.

You can already buy a »Renaissance Box Set« on the singer's website, which says: »Begins shipping July 29th upon album release«.

»I sense that a renaissance is emerging.«

Beyoncé gave an interview to Harpar's Bazaar magazine in August last year when asked when to expect new music from her, she replied: "After all the isolation and injustice of the past year, we're all ready to break out, too to travel, to love and to laugh again.

I sense that a renaissance is in the making and I want to help encourage that escape in any way I can.

I've been in the studio for a year and a half.«

If it were a solo album, it would be her seventh overall and the first after 2016's hit Lemonade. After that, Beyoncé released the album Everything is Love with her husband Jay-Z and the musical film Black Is King".
