This was stated by the governor of the Banque du France François Villeroy de Galhau speaking to Young Factor.
For Villeroy "inflation is like the speed of a car. Before it was zero and we had to increase the speed and now we have to take our foot off the accelerator" through the exit from Qe and "the gradual but lasting increase in rates".
