From electronic tolls to payment of fuel or parking with voice control, from real time coaching to automatic assistance in the event of an emergency.

These are some of the 30 digital services contained in Next, the first device that combines insurance, telematics and electronic toll collection.

Generali's goal is to reach 1 million Telepass customers by 2022.

“Today the attention of the customer towards new forms of connected and sustainable mobility is growing: almost one in two today uses a connected car;

64% prefer to manage services in self-service mode, and by 2025 the number of people who will use car sharing will double, while 70% aspire to an electric or hybrid vehicle ”.

This was explained by the CEO of Generali Jeniot, Francesco Bardelli, and the Chief Property & Casuality Officer of Generali Italia, Massimo Monacelli, during the presentation of Next, together with the CEO of Telepass, Gabriele Benedetto.

"In 5 years at Generali we have innovated mobility insurance: ensuring for the first time the movement of the person, not just the car", adds Bardelli, underlining that telematics and digital services guarantee "more prevention, safety, assistance and speed, and also a positive social and environmental impact ".

Through this partnership with Telepass "we strengthen our commitment to building a mobility ecosystem with innovative, technological, data-driven and customizable services to create unique and excellent solutions for Telepass and Generali customers".

Next "is the third initiative among those envisaged by the partnership signed with Generali and, also this, as well as the application of cashback on the motorway toll with automatic reimbursement and motorway collision coverage,

“We have intercepted an easily accessible and connected mobility need from our target audience and we propose, together with Generali Italia, an innovative solution to offer customers a simple, fluid, smart and personalized mobility experience.

The new product confirms Telepass as an ecosystem of 360-degree mobility services and projects it into building the future of increasingly connected mobility ".
