In 2020, while France is confined, Lucille and Allan begin to work on a project that is close to the heart of these two inhabitants of Vannes: to develop a sunscreen that does not pollute the ocean but perfectly protects the skin.
Skin cancer affects 80,000 people each year in France
and Brittany - their region - is the most affected.
This is one of the reasons why the young duo became interested in sun protection, while Lucille and Allan were still in business school.
Alerted by studies proving that
the chemical filters in our sunscreens
disturb marine biodiversity and bleach corals
, they decide to turn to mineral filters, which have a much less impact on the environment.
After several months of research, Lucille and Allan launched
Kerbi, a new generation of sun care for the whole family
