Emmanuel Macron, Olaf Scholz, Mario Draghi and Romanian Klaus Iohannis arrived in kyiv on Thursday.
They each spoke in the gardens of the Ukrainian presidential palace.
The French, German, Italian and Romanian leaders are all in favor of granting Ukraine the official status of candidate for entry into the European Union "immediate", declared Emmanuel Macron after talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“This status will be accompanied by a roadmap and will also imply taking into account the situation in the Balkans and the neighbourhood, in particular Moldova,” he added.
