(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 17 - More than doubling: for shops and tourist activities the bill of costs due to energy increases goes from 11 billion in 2021 to 27 in 2022. This is confirmed by the Confcommercio Energy Observatory which, together with Nomisma Energia , has dealt with the various types of activities in his pocket, crossing them with the best offers for light and gas.

For a restaurant the electricity bill alone will rise to 18,000 euros (+ 58%), for a grocery store to 40,000 euros (+ 70%), for a hotel to 137,000 euros (+ 76%), for a bar up to 10,670 euros. (+ 54%), for a non-food shop at 9,400 euros (+ 87%).


    "The service sector companies are restarting, the signs are encouraging, especially for the summer season, the unknown war and the unstoppable growth of energy expenditure are holding back the recovery. The Government must intervene to further reduce energy costs in a structural way. companies can no longer bear this burden ", comments the President of Confcommercio, Carlo Sangalli.
