(ANSA) - MILAN - Microsoft will also bring video games to Teams.

The American giant has started experimenting with fast games in the remote communication app, notoriously used for business calls.

As indicated by The Verge website, the software maker has begun testing titles such as Solitaire within the platform, to allow colleagues to play against each other during breaks between meetings.

Microsoft also expects the arrival of virtual spaces in Teams, where colleagues can network and socialize.

A move that would concern, more generally, the construction of a parallel world in Microsoft's metaverse, which has already unveiled the Mesh project in recent months, an environment that can be accessed through various platforms, from Hololens viewers to PCs and consoles, both to work for to have fun.

Microsoft is continually adding features to Teams to enhance hybrid work.

The 'together' mode was one of the first innovations launched in the middle of the pandemic, to try the experience of being in a shared scenario with the participants of the meeting.

The Redmond-based company is also improving the quality of Teams by leveraging artificial intelligence, for example to eliminate disturbances such as echo and reverberation during conversations.

Microsoft has trained artificial intelligence models with 30,000 hours of conversations, simulating about 100,000 different communication rooms to arrive at a technology that can reduce the problems during the call phase, without users having to act on various settings or configurations.
