Spread recall: warning of diarrheal diseases - several federal states affected

Kosebate GmbH from Sinzheim is recalling one of their spreads.
Consumers should not consume the product and put it back on the market.
Mannheim – Kosebate GmbH from Sinzheim (Rastatt district) has started a recall for its Alburj-Halva spread.
The products affected are those manufactured between January 2nd, 2021 and June 10th, 2022, the company announced in a press release.
Salmonella was detected on the basis of official examinations.
The goods were offered in 300 and 500 gram packs.
Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia and Saarland are affected by the recall.

Salmonella can cause dangerous diarrheal diseases, which often develop with fever within 48 hours after eating the affected products.
These symptoms can be increased in children, immunocompromised and elderly people.
Consumers who have consumed these goods and have corresponding symptoms should consult a doctor immediately and point out the consumption of the product.
