(ANSA) - TOKYO, JUN 17 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange opens the last session of the week in decline, in the wake of the heavy correction of US stock indices, with investors having repercussions on the US economy due to the progressive increase in consumer prices.
At the opening the Nikkeicede 1.38% at 25,991.90, and a loss of 439 points.
On the foreign exchange markets, the yen strengthens against the dollar at 132.20, and at 139.50 against the euro.
